Another experimental film I have viewed with similar concerns that I want to capture in my film is
Zbigniew Rybczynski's short experimental film Tango.This animated film shows 36 figures continuously entering and exiting a small room. Each character is individual and represents a particular person or life stage.
The characters and films have a slow build up to create a hectic space in the room set. It represents in my opinion the mundane and hectic nature of life's routine. Each character creates a sound and movement which all seem to congregate together as a song or dance, or as the tit;e suggest tango. It could suggest the dance of life?
This has inspired our idea further, to represent our every day life forma fixed perspective like in Tango, but from the fishes perspective. Like in Tango we shall cause the sounds of the work to build up and create a busy and hectic space.
